Seriously, though... One of the reasons I went with the J3 is that it seems that dedicated PMPs are rapidly becoming a thing of the past. It's getting harder and harder to find a cell phone that isn't a smartphone, too. Due to the nature of the beast with limited battery life, multi-function devices are less desirable for portable devices, imho.

Who wants to not have their phone available, because they were too busy watching movies, playing games or listening to music earlier?

If you have to buy one of these to keep from worrying about battery life:


PowerGen Duo-Power External Battery Pack 8400mAh High Capacity Power Bank Charger Dual USB output

How much space have you really saved? If you don't want to get one of those, then you will be stuck less than mobile (or without your device) for hours at a time. This isn't even considering the limited number of charge cycles batteries in portable devices have.

The matrix browser looks nice on it as well, I wonder if it lags like the J3

It uses Android Gingerbread according to the first page on cowon's website

I agree these battery packs are real lifesaver and much cheaper these days

IPS is quite good. BTW, the AMOLED screen (on Z2) is not that good because it uses pentile. Pentile makes the display a little more zigzagged.
