Hi Kizune,
Thanks once more for this UI. I am now enjoying my X7 more than ever before. Just tweaking, do you think there is a way to fix the gapless playback problem in X7 through the player. I am using Winamp but there is a noticeable pause between tracks and crossfade is simply lacking. Cheers John |

That behavior can't be changed with UCIs, sorry.

Rather than deleting all the music I found that if in windows explorer you make the parent folder ie music hidden, then rebuild the database it will be empty. Then simply unhide the folder and rebuild the database again and it will be refreshed. Hope this helps, Craig |

Lynx replaces the mainmenu (i.e. the screen with the icons where you can open the music app, radio and so on) and Sense replaces the music app.
![]() You can install and use both UCIs simultaneously.

I wonder why I couldn't work that out for myself ![]() I have been taking a look at lynx. I installed it as mainmenu3 but it didn't show up - I guess because X7 only has two menus by default, so it doesn't expect a third one. So ... I installed it as mainmenu2 and whilst playing with it I switched to menu 3 (which turned out to be original x7 menu 2, I think) - but I got stuck there ! The "M" button no longer worked as a switch between menus. I managed to get it back, but that's just a word of warning in case some other fool makes the same mistake ! Is is possible to get the X7 to keep its original menus and see lynx as menu 3 ? |

This could be because: 1) It never had any or 2) I have deleted them at some point (quite possible !) Could anyone tell me if their X7 has any files (by default) in the Flash UI folder ? Thanks ! |

@Gubba, how did you manage to get back to the Lynx UI from main menu 3? I did the same thing as you!
Thanks |

![]() I renamed the lynx menu file to mainmenu3.swf and restarted the player - this brought it back to the default configuration (just 2 standard x7 menus). I'm guessing there may be some slight differences between how the UCIs are implemented on J3 as opposed to the X7 - hence my question regarding what's in the Flash UI menu by default (which I'm still hoping someone will answer !) |

Is It possible to set home button on X7 as a play/pause button, so I can use it while in pocket ??
![]() I would buy this player (already own S9, but need MORE space), but without hardware button play/pause function it would be useless for me! |

Gubba. Thanks for your help. It went back to the Lynx UI.Regardin your question, I'm a newbie with this sort thing, but i did not see a MainmenuX in my flash UI, only Cowonmainmenu1 in the SOL file.
@Kizune, is it possible to switch between the Lynx and the Cowon UI? By the way, a big thanks for creating this, really appreciate it. |

Here are instructions how to use Lynx (and how to go to another mainmenu).

Kizune. I loaded the updated version of Lynx, and when i turned the X7 on, there was no home icon to get out of the music player. Anyone else had this problem or my poor download skills?
Thanks. |
