The parts:
Touchstone inductive charger http://www.amazon.com/Palm-Touchston.../dp/B003O76EE2 The back cover i took apart and used in the D2 http://www.amazon.com/Palm-4550-2500...497125&sr=1-12 Two wires, electric tape and sauter/flux look around you could probably get the whole set for around $26 not including shipping on amazon |

the touchstone outputs 5.5v
my first attempt was charging via ac adapter plug. was working great charging fast the first day. the d2 intermittently stopped charging and then nothing happened on subsequent charging sessions and not even via ac adapter. so ac adapter port ruined as far as i know.... next attempted charging via usb adapter port. succeeded on day 5! the only drawback, extremely slow charging and unable to charge completely. pros turns on and charges in car. |
