Thumb Up watch pdf in your s9 (swf flash file) /guide/

for view a pdf file on s9(by convert to flash file)
you will able to watch and read your pdf files with options like zoom in and scroll down and up and flip pages. (the flash viewer working by touch)

the whole method is done by using this software(swftools){free}
.pdf2swf" the link - http://www.swftools.org/swftools-0.9.0.exefor windows.
and this link for linux
git clone git://git.swftools.org/swftools

the process is easy -
1)first of all after lunching "pdf2swf" click edit -> option(if you click first "open" to choose a file it will take you more time.do it later)
2)at the first tab you got some configuration to do -

don't click apply until you done with all the configurations
dpi - the default is Ok (72)
font-don't use higher then 30 for the font.if you use a pdf without real text(image-not editable) you can just lower it to 0.
insert full font in swf file - i am not sure about this one, if you use a complex fonts so maybe you have to turn it on.
polygon quality and jpg quality - i can't see a difference above 50 so you can choose even below(if you use a pdf without shapes and photos you can lower it to 0).
if eventually the swf file working slow you can downsize the quality.
resolution - same as in pdf

go to the next tab and use rfxview(default)
width - custom 480
height - custom 272
initial zoom level - maximum height

when you finish with the configuration - click apply
and file -> open pdf. this part could take some time until the loading is done.
click save swf (all pages) this one could be really long -depends by your computer and the chosen pdf.
hope everyone would enjoy this guide.(slip)

Help S9 Hangs!

I have created swf using the same setting mentioned by Slip. But when try to open it in S9, it hangs....I have to press reset button to shutdown S9. I have tried with other setting also, but no result...for all files created by pdf2swf, it doesn't run.
Can anyone try to convert the following pdf and tell me the result..

It has a limitation to how many "objects" it can support in flash. So some of them just won't work. I tried it on a HUGE (80MB) chapter from a school book I have. ...no dice.

It's so weird that you guys all discovered this about the same time that I did (about a month ago), even though it's been out for quite some time. This is the first I noticed the thread though.

What I do is the following. I extract images from my pdf files and pack them together in a folder. Then I use dnw's image viewer, which gives me full zooming capability, so that I can actually read the text. (which is not possible with the built-in-image-viewer)

DNW has not developed an image viewer. So which one do you use? Klaus' or Claw's?

He was so kind to work on a small picture viewer app for me.
It basically does the same as any picture viewer, but automatically zooms in so that I can actually read my text, which isn't possible with the default picture viewer. It also supports png files.
Where can I find Claw's picture viewer ? Haven't tried this yet.
