I received my d2+ today brand new...i hooked it up to my pc and it was recognized..no problems there.
I started to copy my music folders over to the device and everything was good, all up about 8gig of folders. Double clicked the safely remove hardware icon and removed the d2 from the usb...then i turned it on and it scanned for about 10 seconds and everything looked ok the menu screen came up so i tapped the music icon and the menu screen slowly faded away and then froze on me...i cant switch it off i cant reset it the pc wont recognize it at all. its just frozen on the blank pale blue screen. any gurus here know what is going on here? BTW I think it had the 2.11 firmware on it. I tried to hold down the menu button and the power button in the off position to try and reset it but nothing works. Thanks for any help you can give me..i have been waiting for a week to get the player and i was dying to try it out..so disappointed:-( Last edited by crypto; 02-02-2010 at 02:51.. Glad everything worked out. I actually just got a D2+ too and that happened to me right after I upgraded my firmware. I'm hoping that these freezes aren't a common thing.
