Help Cowon D2 16GB USB problem

My Cowon D2 16GB does USB connection is not functiong.
When I connect it to the PC -
the D2 says it is connected to USB and is being charged.
BUT - on the PC nothing happens as if it was never plugged..
I have tried to use a different USB cable , cleaned the player socket with alcohole and air - changed the USB menu from MTP to MSC.
Nothing works.
Please HELP !!

Hi Galdanny,

does the prob still exist? I guess you've already tried all the other usb ports on your pc? If not, give it a try. Please check wether it occurs with your D2 being connected to another computer then. If such extra marrital affairs are successful your D2 is ok.

Next thing would be to post more info about your pc, operating system etc ... Did it fail at work? Admins are able to block msc.

go to disk management on your computer and try changing the drive letters.
