Mini User Guide:

(The very basic things aren't described here)

How to open...
  • ... the options menu: Press and hold the menu button until the options menu appears.
  • ... the lyrics panel: Press and hold the tag information (title, artist, album...) until the lyrics panel appears. If the file has no lyrics of the type LDB, you can't open the LDB viewer. Same for the LRC viewer.
  • ... the QuickAccess feature: Double-tap the album art.
  • ... the Track Preview: Press and hold the browser button.
If the option 'prefer track preview over browser' is activated, you just have to tap the browser button. To open the browser you have to hold the button then.

Available gestures:
  • Swipe left/right to go to the next/previous track.
  • Swipe left/right and then back to go to a random track.

The rest is easy to figure out.

Wow, it looks really nice so far, though the album art seems to move a bit slowly, but that transition looks really nice. Also, the browser is cool too. In short, it's looking really great so far.

"though the album art seems to move a bit slowly"

A faster moving looks very laggy, so I decided to move it only by 100px which looks the most appealing.

Thanks for the comments so far!

downloaded, installed, testing - so far, loving!

glad I checked the forum before I left the house this morning and saw your intention to release today or tomorrow, otherwise I wouldn't have had the USB cable with me.

Wow. Just wow! My S9 never looked this good before! Cowon should hire you, it's that good!
Two requests only:
Can we have an option to only keep the transition effect, and disable the "gliding" effect? (Sorry if you addressed this in the concept thread, I haven't had time to properly read it though)
Is it possible to swipe up and down to increase/decrease the volume? Or have a simple missed it in my rush?

Now, when will we get an video and browser replacement? (This asked as a request, not an demand in any way.)

Razerz:

"Can we have an option to only keep the transition effect, and disable the 'gliding' effect?"

Yeah, I'll add this one.

"And second, when will we get an video and browser replacement? (This asked as a request, not an demand in any way.)"

I'm going to create a video UCI when I finished Dark Evolution.

JRWaite:

"cant wait to get home to try this...is there a landscape mode in this beta?"

No, this one is vertical mode only.
But since this mode is completely finished, I'm going to code the horizontal mode now.

AeroUltimate 2: check
Dark Evolution: check

nirvana? on my way!

i can't believe this thing is in beta. all things considered, it's really solid from what i've played with. album art sliding is a little slow, but frankly i'm not surprised and don't care much. album art sliding for all UCIs has been slow anyways. feels like a final product moreso than a beta!

thanks dnw! this thing is great

Damn so in love with transition, volume gesture, shortcut menu...all the UCI.

Edit : Don't remember if there is a lockscreen button.

Wow, I somehow managed to delete my entire Flash UI folder while just trying to replace my 2_music.swf with this one. Go me. *deskhead*

Good thing I had Claw's and Aero Ultimate stored on my pc.. I just tried Dark Evolution, and I love it. My favourite music UCI so far, and possibly (not unlikely) for all time. I'd like to make some kind of suggestion, but looks like everything I'd like is already a planned feature. Great work.
