Aero Ultimate News

11-19-2009:
Aero Ultimate G2 v1.00 released! Download

____________________

Aero Ultimate G2 is a User Creative Interface for the Cowon S9.
It provides lots of features such as widgets, customizable desktops, an integrated music UCI and many more. However, the UCI is still very user-friendly and easy to use.

Aero Ultimate G2 allows you to customize the interface however you want it. There are more than 30 icons and widgets available which you can place on 4 desktops the way you want it.
There's not only the ability to move icons and widgets around - you can also hide the toolbar (the bar with the clock in the screenshots), show an infobar (the bar at the top in the 3rd screenshot) and apply many more options according to your wishes.

The available icons

The available widgets

About the widgets in the second screenshot:
The post-it widget shows notes you wrote in Typist.
The widget with the texts 'Love Game' and 'Lady Gaga' is the so called mode info widget. It shows information about the currently playing song or shows the current frequency if the radio is active.
The widget with the red leaf picture is the slideshow widget. You can change the picture and start an automatic slideshow.
The analog clock widget has 5 different themes.

There aren't only the icons Aero Ultimate G2 provides you - you can create your own icons!
You can use 1 of 9 icon packs which can contain up to 35 custom icons. Along with the stock icons and widgets you can place up to 68 objects on your four desktops.
Of course the Custom Icons Manager is easy to use with its clearly arranged menus and big buttons for good usability. Also, there is a sorting function so that you can manage your custom icons very handy.

Aero Ultimate G2 provides a very secure password protection and various lock screens to protect your player from other people. You can use letters, numbers and symbols in your password.
Also, the 9-Dots lock screen allows you to set a specific order the dots have to be pressed, which is quite similar to the Android's unlock method.
There are many other options to configure your lock screen interface.

Regular updates, a developer who is always open for suggestions and fast support for your problems - is there anything missing?

This guide contains instructions about the main interface with its subfeatures and the settings interface.

1. The basics
1.1. Installation
1.2. First steps
1.3. The Desktop Editor
1.4. The QuickAccess feature
1.5. Aero Music Embedded (AME)

2. Advanced features
2.1. Travel Mode
2.2. Lock screen and security
2.3. Details about specific widgets
2.4. The Custom Icons Manager
2.5. Other features

1.1. Installation

After you downloaded Aero Ultimate G2, extract the contents of your archive in the System/Flash UI folder in your S9.

If a previous version of Aero Ultimate is installed, your operating system might ask you whether you want to overwrite some files. Choose the option 'Yes' (or similar).

After that, rename the file 'mainmenuN.swf' to 'mainmenu1.swf', 'mainmenu2.swf' or 'mainmenu3.swf', depending on what mainmenu you want it to be.

1.2. First steps

After you started your S9 and switched to Aero Ultimate G2, you will see a screen like this:

The tiny bar at the bottom with the white part is the desktop indicator. Depending on the desktop you are currently viewing, the white part is on a different place.

The bar above the desktop indicator is the toolbar. By default it shows the current date and time. Of course the clock uses the 24h format if this option is set in the cowon settings.

How do you switch between the desktops?

That's quite easy - just swipe to the left to switch to the next desktop. If you reached the last desktop, the interface shows the first desktop.
The same vice versa.

This way you can also switch between the toolbar panels. Here is a screenshot of all panels:

The second panel on the screenshot is the first tool panel. The buttons are self-explanatory, but I want to tell you one thing about the 'shaking on/off' button: When shaking is enabled, you can switch the desktop by shaking your S9 the way you can shake it in the music screen. Also, when the AME (-> chapter 1.5) is active, you can shake to change the song.

The third panel is the second tool panel. Here are the buttons self-explanatory as well. (-> chapter 1.3: Desktop Editor; chapter 2.1: Travel Mode)

The fourth panel is the music panel. Here you can control the music in a quick way. Also, there are information about artist, title and album. When you swipe up while this panel is visible, the AME (-> chapter 1.5), an integrated music UCI, appears.

There are also some other swiping gestures (only the basic ones):
  • Swipe up while any toolbar panel but the music panel is visible, and the QuickAccess feature (-> chapter 1.4) appears. You can hide it by swiping down.
  • Swipe down while any toolbar panel is visible, and the toolbar disappears. You'll see an infobar at the top and another desktop indicator at the bottom instead.
  • Swipe down while the toolbar is hidden and the QuickAccess feature (-> chapter 1.4) shows. Swipe up to hide it.

Here is a summary screenshot of all basic gestures:

1.3. The Desktop Editor

To start the Desktop Editor, swipe to the second tool panel in the toolbar and tap the 'edit desktop' button.
After some animations the Desktop Editor is ready to use.

The first button is self-explanatory, so I skip it and explain the 'grid' button.
You can choose between three different grids:
  • grid 1: A grid with small cells. You can place 4x5 desklets in it.
  • grid 2: A grid with large cells. You can place 3x4 desklets in it.
  • no grid: You can place the desklets however you want.

Now you might wonder what the so called 'desklets' are. The answer is easy: This word combines icons and widgets in one word. It's simply easier to write 'desklets' than 'icons and widgets', isn't it?

The 'desklets' button opens a new panel where are all desklets listed, the so called 'Desklets Panel'.

With the two arrow buttons you can change the page the Desklets Panel currently shows.
To add a desklet, just tap its icon.
When you are done, tap the X button to close the Desklets Panel.

Here is an example screenshot of what you could have done:

Now you can drag and drop your desklets, place them wherever you want. Dropping a desklet on an arrow moves it to the next or previous desktop. Dropping it on the X removes it and you can re-add it using the Desklets Panel.
Of course you can change the grid during the editing - the desklets won't get repositioned. You can apply different grids to specific desklets just by moving them. If the grid is enabled, it snaps automatically to the nearest cell. Otherwise it stays where you dropped it.

This way you can edit all your desktop. You can switch between the desktops the same way you can do it normally - swipe to the left or right. But be careful: Don't press a desklet when you want to switch to another desktop.

When you are done, you can close the Desktop Editor by tapping the 'exit' button.

One possible result might be this:

1.4. The QuickAccess feature

QuickAccess is a feature which allows you to change the brightness, volume and bluetooth state very quickly. You can also switch to any screen, for example to the music screen.

The first panel shows the current brightness setting. Just swipe to the left to decrease the value or swipe to the right to increase it.
The second panel shows the volume. You can change its value the same way.
The third panel indicates the current bluetooth state. Tap the panel, to en- or disable bluetooth, depending on its state.
The last panel shows the current battery value and memory information. Normally the memory indicator shows how much memory is free. You can tap this panel to show the used memory.
With the buttons at the black panel you can quickly go to the screen the button represents.

You can close QuickAccess by swiping up or down. This depends on where you opened QuickAccess. When you opened it while the toolbar was visible, you have to swipe down to hide it. Otherwise swipe up.

1.5. Aero Music Embedded (AME)

AME is the integrated music UCI Aero contains. It's basically a complete music UCI, but it lacks some feature such as A-B repeat. However, things like an easy access to EQ, playback speed, repeat mode, browser, album art etc are included.

To activate AME, switch to the music panel in the toolbar and swipe up.

The bar above the toolbar is the seek bar. It works the same way as the music seek bar: tap it somewhere and the song seeks to the corresponding time.
The label with the text 'NaN:NaN:NaN /' is the time indicator. The time format is 'hh:mm:ss / hh:mm:ss', for example '00:01:35 / '00:04:23'. Of course you'll see the correct time, the error on the screenshot is just there because I used the UCI on my computer.
The label '1000 / 1000' shows the number of the current file and the number of all files, for example '12 / 268'.
The arrow on the right opens some options everybody often uses: playback speed, eq, repeat mode and browser.

Just tap one of the three buttons and a popup corresponding to the button you pressed appears. In the screenshot it's the EQ popup.
Tap the arrow button to hide the buttons.

But there is still something missing - the album art.
Tap the button at the top to show it.

The album art in the screenshot is just an alternative picture.

But showing the album art isn't the only function of the album art panel.
You can also swipe to the left or right to change the song. Also, there is an invisible button at the buttom of the album art panel. When you tap it, it shows a menu with some other useful functions.

I think it isn't necessary to explain the buttons.

But there is still something missing... a quite nice feature.
Swipe up and you'll see what I mean.

This is a volume slider. Swipe up to increase and swipe down to decrease the volume. Make sure that you start the gesture on the volume slider.
You can hide it by swiping down somewhere else.

Exit AME either by tapping the 'exit music panel button in the album art panel, by swiping down or by switching to another toolbar panel.

Here's a picture of the swiping gestures in AME:

2.1. Travel Mode

The Travel Mode is like a second interface in Aero Ultimate.
It is made for an easy usability while traveling. Also, it contains fast access to the mute feature, a shutdown/sleep button and a switch mode button (switches between radio and music mode).

Some other features aren't accessible such as en-/disable shaking, options, the Desktop Editor, AME etc.

To run this mode, open the second tool panel in the toolbar and press the 'travel mode' button.

2.2. Lock screen and security

A lock screen with activated password protection is a very nice feature to add more security to your S9. You can choose one of four completely different lock screens. You can use letters, numbers and symbols in your password which allows you to use a very secure password.

How to configure your lock screen

First open the second tool panel in the toolbar and start the options. Then go into the Lock screen settings.

Explanation of all settings (from top to bottom):

  • Run on startup | Yes, No
Shall the lock screen appear when you turn your S9 on?
  • Unlock method
Controls the way you have to unlock your S9 and how the lock screen looks like.
    .
    • tap 9 dots: The lock screen shows 9 dots. By default, you have to tap all 9 dots to unlock your S9.
But you have the ability to set an order for the dots, similar to Android's lock screen - press this button until another screen appears where you can configure the 9-dots lock screen.
      (screenshot 1, screenshot 2)

    • rotate by 360 degrees: The name of this option explains how the new unlock method is like - rotate your S9 in 90° steps and it is unlocked.
There is an indicator to show you whether the S9 has recognized the rotation. As soon as the indicator, an arrow, points to the ground, you can rotate the S9 by the next 90°. Repeat this until your S9 reached its original rotation.
      (screenshot 1)

    • shake: This unlock method is very nice since no other device has that. Just shake your S9 and it's unlocked.
      (screenshot 1)

    • slide: This is the "classic" way to unlock your S9. Move a slider from the left to the right edge of the screen and your S9 is unlocked.
      (screenshot 1)
      .
  • Password protection
This option opens the settings to the password protection. Further explanation later.
  • Lock toolbar | Yes, No
Can you change the shown panel in the toolbar?
  • Lock hard buttons | Yes, No
Can you use the physical buttons to change the volume, change the song etc.?
  • 'Show album art' button | Visible, Invisible
Do you want to be able to show the album art of the currently playing song?
  • Show album art immediately | Yes, No
Shall the album art of the currently playing song appear immediately after you locked your S9?
  • Show header | Yes, No
When this option is set to 'No', you'll only see the infobar at the top.
    (screenshot 1)

Now you are ready to configure your lock screen.

You can exit the settings by tapping the header.
This way you have to exit all sections in the options screen by the way.

How to configure the password protection

Go to the lock screen configuration and tap the button 'Password protection'.

Explanation of all settings (from top to bottom):
  • Enabled / Disabled (in this case 'Disabled')
Shows the current state of the password protection. Tap this button to turn it off or on.
  • Set Master Password
Set the password you want to use normally.
  • Set Secondary Password
Set the password you need if you forgot your master password.
  • Ask pwd on startup only | Yes, No
Normally the password is prompted all the time you lock your S9.
With this option enabled, it is only prompted on startup.
This works only if the option 'Run on startup' in the lock screen configuration is active.

Now you might wonder what Master and Secondary Passwords are.

The Master Password is the password you use normally all the time to unlock your S9.

But what happens if you forgot your Master Password?
Now the Secondary Password is important.
Every time the password is prompted there is a button 'Forgot your password?' available. Tap it and you have to enter your Secondary Password. When you entered the correct password, the password protection is tunred off and your S9 is unlocked. Then you can enter the options and change the Master Password.

Because of this there is one important thing: Don't set the same password as Master and Secondary Password!
This is very important because what happens if you forgot your password? You couldn't use the 'Forgot your password?' button because the Secondary Password is also the master Password. Now the only way to reset the password protection is plugging your S9 in a computer, going to the System/Flash UI/SOL folder and deleting the file 'au_main.sol' (or only 'au_main' if your operating system doesn't show file extensions).

About the lock screen interface

You have your lock screen and password protection configured.
Now it's time to enjoy what you set.

You can enter the lock screen by going to the first tool panel in the toolbar, tapping the shut down button and pressing the lock-like icon.

Since this is a lock screen you can't use all features anymore.
Depending on the options you set you can use some specific features.

The option 'Lock toolbar' is inactive:
You can still
  • switch between the music and the time panel in the toolbar
  • use AME (-> chapter 1.5)
  • use the physical buttons to change the song etc. (requires that the option 'Lock hard buttons' is disabled)

If the option 'Lock toolbar is active', you can't switch to the music panel in the toolbar anymore. Also, AME isn't accessible then because you can only open AME when the music panel is shown.

2.3. Details about specific widgets

Some widgets are configurable in some ways such as the analog clock widget, the mode info widget and many more.

Analog clock widget

You can apply 1 of 5 different themes to this widget.
Tap the widget and a button at the top left corner appears. Tap the button to change the theme.
When you're done, tap the clock to hide the button.

Shutdown widget

The shutdown widget has two different actions you can set - sleep and shut down.
You can either change the action in the settings (misc. settings) or you tap and hold the widget until it changed its icon.

By the way: This works also for all shut down buttons in Aero Ultimate. Press and hold it to change the action of the button.

Mode Info widget

With the Mode Info widget you can change very quickly between radio and music mode. Also, there is also a black color scheme.

Press the Mode Info widget so that a button in its center appears.

To switch between radio and music mode, just press the button.
To change the color scheme, press and hold the button until the color changed.
You can hide the button without any changes by tapping the widget somewhere else.

Post-It widget

The doesn't only show the first document you created in Typist - you can display also all the other ones you created.

Tap the widget to show the controls.

The edit button starts Typist. For technical reasons it isn't possible to start Typist with the current document shown.
With the arrows you can show the next/previous document. Only documents which contain text are shown.

To hide the buttons, tap the widget in its center.

Slideshow widget

The slideshow widget shows normally the picture you viewed lastly in the pictures browser.
However, you can also show other pictures and start a slideshow.

Press the widget and the buttons appear.

With the left and right buttons you can show the next/previous picture. The button in the middle starts or pauses the slideshow.

You can hide the buttons by tapping the widget again.

World Clock widget

The world clock widget is kind of special because you have to configure it in the options.

Open the options and press the button 'World Clock Settings'.

Description of the options (from top to bottom):
  • Split widget | Yes, No
Shall the world clocks be shown as one widget, or shall every clock be a widget?
  • Time Zone
Set the time zone of your location here.
  • Clock X Settings
Opens settings screen of clock X.

The clock X settings screen:

Description of the options (from top to bottom):
  • Enabled / Disabled (in this case 'Disabled')Is this clock active or isn't it?
  • Time Zone
Set the time zone of the location you want to display here.
  • Location
Enter the name of the location you want to show here.

2.4. The Custom Icons Manager

In Aero Ultimate you can use more than only the widgets and icons it provides - you can also create your own icons.

First go into the options and press the button 'Custom Icons Manager'.

Now you can choose 1 of 10 icon packs you want to use. Every icon pack can contain 35 icons.
To activate in icon pack, tap the button it represents and tap the 'activate' button at the bottom.
You can edit an icon pack by tapping the button two times.
But before you begin to edit an icon pack, make sure that the Custom Icons Manager is enabled. Otherwise your custom icons won't appear in Aero Ultimate.

Now you can see 7 empty slots. The icons on the left represent the category the icon has. More about this feature and the sorting function later.

Select an empty slot to mark it as active. Now you can use the buttons at the bottom. The left button (it is invisible in the screenshot because there's no slot marked) is the enable/disable button. Buttons which are set as disabled aren't shown in Aero Ultimate. Tap the button to enable
, or if it is already enabled, disable it. With the button in the middle you enter the Icon Editor. The right button resets the slot.

The part at the bottom border is the page navigation bar. The text in the center indicates the page you are currently viewing. With the arrows you can go to the next or previous page.

Now enter the Icon Pack Editor
either by tapping a slot one time and pressing the edit button or by tapping a slot two times.

Explanation of the options (from top to bottom):
  • Enabled / Disabled (in this case 'Disabled')
When the current Icon is marked as Disabled, it isn't shown in Aero Ultimate. As soon as it is enabled, you can choose it in the Desktop Editor in the Desklets Panel (-> chapter 1.3).
  • Label
The label is shown in the Icon Pack Editor and, if the option 'Show Label' is active, below your custom icon as well.
Because of this you should set an informative label.
  • File
The file is started when you tap your icon. make sure that the filename is correctly spelled.
There are also so called 'CI commands'. More about this feature later.
  • Icon
The picture which is shown instead of the alternative one.
The format can be either .png (recommended) or .jpg.
  • Run Mode
Controls the way the icon executes the file.
    There are three different options:
    .
    • Launcher: The file is started like a UCI.
This option is recommended for UCIs and applications.
The file has to be in /System/Flash UI/

    • Flash Browser: The file is started like a game you run using the Flash function.
This option is recommended for all games. If the game creator says that you can run it as UCI, use the launcher mode.
The file has to be in /Flash/

    • Flash Browser LMode: The file is started in a UCI-like mode.
This mode is especially created for the Tower Defense game by Santoki. Though, it might also work for some other games and tools. Just try it out for other flash files.
The file has to be in /Flash/
      .
  • Show Label | Yes, No
Shall the label be visible below the icon?
  • Category
This is a nice feature to make it easier to manage all custom icons.
    (screenshot 1)
  • Preview pane
The part at the bottom shows how the custom icon looks like with the current configuration.

CI commands

CI commands are special commands which run a file in a specific Launcher mode for example.
Enter the icon Editor and tap the file button. Then type the CI command, followed by '++' (without ') and the name of the file.

  • Replacement commands
With replacement commands you can replace a specific icon with the custom icon.
If you enter for example r_music, the stock music icon is removed and instead you can use your custom icon as music icon.
    Here all commands:
    .
    • Music icon: r_music
    • Movie icon: r_movie or r_movies or r_film
    • Picture icon: r_picture or r_pictures
    • Browser icon: r_browser
    • Flash icon: r_flash
    • Documents icon: r_text or r_doc or r_docs
    • Radio icon: r_radio
    • Dictionary icon (if available): r_dict
    • DMB icon (if available): r_dmb
    • Record icon: r_record
    • Settings icon: r_setting or r_settings
    • Notepad icon: r_notepad
    • Hunter icon: r_hunter
    • Calculator icon: r_calc
    • Typist icon: r_typist
    • Lock widget: r_lock
    • Shutdown widget: r_shutdown
    • Brightness widget: r_brightness
      .
These commands work with the ++filename extension, too. Just enter for example 'r_music++anymusic.swf' (without ').

  • Mode commands
Mode commands run a file in a specific launcher mode, for example music mode. This is necessary for the music and video UI only, because the browser would return to the stock UI if you didn't use a mode command.
    Here the two mode commands:
    .
    • Music Mode: nr_music++filename
    • Movie Mode: nr_movie++filename
      .
These commands don't work without the ++filename extension.

Where to put the pictures for the custom icons in

With pictures I mean the picture the custom icon shows instead of the default icon.

Go in the /System/Flash UI/ folder in your S9 and create a new folder. Name it 'im_icons' (without ').
Icons go directly into this folder, no subfolders such as 'pack01'.
This means (example with a music icon):
wrong: /System/Flash UI/im_icons/pack01/music.png
correct: /System/Flash UI/im_icons/music.png
This doesn't mean that you can't use subfolders. If you use subfolders, enter them in the icon name as well.
So if the music.png is in im_icons/pack01/, you have to enter pack01/music.png as icon.

The sorting function

There are two ways to sort your icons. One is sorting by enabled/disabled state, and the other by category.
Of course the category sorting requires that your custom icons have a category set. Otherwise you won't get any benefit of this function.

How to use custom icons

Custom icons behave exactly like normal icons. Just go in the Desktop Editor, open the Desklets Panel and add your custom icons to the desktop.

2.5. Other features

This is the last chapter of the user's guide and is about all the option the Settings Interface provides you. Options which were already described in earlier chapters (the CIM for example) aren't explained here.

Wallpaper FX

Wallpaper FX allows you to manipulate your wallpaper using different overlays.

  • Overlay 1
    Contains the following vignette overlays:
None, diagonal stripes 1, diagonal stripes 2, dots (dark 1), dots (dark 2), dots (bright), horizontal stripes, vertical stripes, honeycombs 1, honeycombs 2, blend

The blend overlay is there to make the wallpaper transparent.
  • Overlay 2
    Contains the following shadow overlays:
None, all edges, bottom, top, top & bottom, right, left, left & right

You can use overlay 1 and overlay 2 at the same time.
  • Overlay X Alpha
Controls the visibility of the overlays.
    100 = fully visible; 0 = invisible
For the blend overlay this means that 100 makes the wallpaper invisible, and 100 fully visible.
  • Preview
Shows you the settings you applied.

Misc settings

Although the name of this section is really unspectacular, there are many useful settings.

Explanation of the options (from top to bottom; from page 1 to page 2):
  • Keep screen on in Travel Mode | Yes, No
Shall the screen stay on in Travel Mode?
  • Shut down widget action | Shutdown, Sleep
The action of the shutdown widget.
A faster way to change the shutdown widget action is holding the widget until it changed its icon.
  • Brightness widget: Show number | Yes, No
Normally the brightness widget shows a number, but you can turn it off with this option.
  • Startup animation
This is a very powerful option.
You can choose one of these three values:
    .
    • Animate after loading
The desklets appear after the whole workspace has been loaded completely.

    • Animate while loading
The desklets appear while the workspace is laoding. This way the desklets are faster accessible, but the animation might lag.

    • No animatiom
This is the fastest option. The desklets appear immediately while they are being loaded.
But they appear directly on the place they're supposed to be.
      .
  • Lock on hold | Yes, No
If enabled, the lock screen appears as soon as you activated hold.
  • Invert shaking | Yes, No
If enabled, the shaking is inverted. This means, instead of switching to the next desktop, the previous desktop is shown when you shake to the left.
  • Use extended swiping (desktop) | Yes, No
If active, you can drag the desktop when you want to go to the next or previous one.
Otherwise it's just a gesture and as soon as you release it, the desktop animates.
  • Use extended swiping (toolbar) | Yes, No
Has the same effect as the extended swiping for desktop option, but it is applied to the toolbar.
  • Fast icon selection animation | Yes, No
If this option is enabled, the animation appears faster. This way, you see which icon you tapped before the new interface appears.
  • Desklets alpha
Controls the transparency of all desklets.
    100 = fully visible; 0 = invisible
  • Disable QuickAccess | Yes, No
Enable this option if you don't want to use QuickAccess.
  • Seek volume bar | Yes, No
If this option is active, you can tap the volume slider on a specific place to jump to the volume you want.
Otherwise you have to swipe to in- and decrease the volume.
Warning! Please use this option carefully! Improper use might cause a permanent damage of your ears!
  • Music toolbar: Show filename | Yes, No
If active, the music panel in the toolbar shows besides the tag information also the filename.
  • Infobar visibility
Controls the behavior of the infobar.
    .
    • Default
The infobar is not visible when you aren't in Travel Mode.

    • Show always
      The infobar is always visible.

    • Show never
The infobar is not even in travel Mode visible.
      .
This option has no effect for the AME infobar, lock screen infobar, Travel Mode infobar and password prompt infobar.
  • AME: Enable hidden buttons | Yes, No
If this option is enabled, you can use the buttons in the Album Art Panel in AME when they aren't visible.

Frequently Asked Questions

Although there is a User's Guide available, there are still people who ask questions with simple answers.

Index
  1. I don't know how to go back in the Settings Interface or how to exit it.
  2. My Custom Icons aren't in the Desklets Panel.
  3. Where do you put pictures (icons) for custom icons in?
  4. Where can I get the wallpaper you used in all your screenshots?
  5. Is Aero Ultimate compatible with Claw's Wallpaper UI?

--------------

1. I don't know how to go back in the Settings Interface or how to exit it.
A: Just press the header with the title to go back.

2. My Custom Icons aren't in the Desklets Panel.
A: Make sure that the Custom Icons Manager is enabled. It is also possible that you forgot to mark your icons as enabled.

3. Where do you put pictures (icons) for custom icons in?

A: Create a new folder in /System/Flash UI/ and name it 'im_icons' (without '). The icons go directly in this folder, don't create subfolders such as 'pack 01'.
Of course you can use subfolders, but then you have to include its name in the icon path, too. Example: a music icon is in /im_icons/subfolder/music.png. Then enter for your custom icon as icon name subfolder/music.png.

4. Where can I get the wallpaper you used in all your screenshots?
A: Here are several versions of the wallpaper: http://aero-uci.bplaced.de/g2_downloads/

5. Is Aero Ultimate compatible with Claw's Wallpaper UI?
A: Yes it is.

Hello guys,

I proudly present you the new Aero Ultimate main thread!

It took me several hours to create the new User's Guide, which is split now in two parts. No, I don't mean that it takes two posts now... I mean there's a main chapter for the basics, and a main chapter for advanced features.
Also, I added a new FAQ. Though, there are still entries missing, so send me suggestions via Pm, please.

Because of the opening of this thread I have a present for you...

Aero Ultimate G2 v1.00 Final is officially released now!

Here is the download: Main | Alternative

Enjoy the final release.

And don't forget how to report bugs:

Short description: A short summary what the bug is.
Example: Sometimes the album art of the previous song is visible behind the album art of the current one.

Extended description: Describe how to get the bug, when the bug does not appear although you expected it to happen, and so on.
Example: Change from a song with a standard album art (1:1 aspect ratio) to a song with a non-standard album art (for example 4:3 aspect ratio). The album slide animation works as always, but after the animation, the album art of the previous song (the standard album art) appears suddenly behind the album art of the previous song (non-standard album art).

Comment: Write whatever you want about the bug. This is optional, just remove this section if you don't want to write a comment.

Actually I didn't forget it, but since Flash deleted my source file, I had to use the backup of rc2. And then I forgot to remove the RC2 part.

I just tried to remove some of my desklets and it works..

"And when im in Lock screen, i need to hide the albam art first to unlock."

The option 'Show album art immediately' in the lock screen settings is probably active.

"Is it possible to lock touchscreen in Lock mode?"

How do you mean this? Just activate hold and make sure that holding the touchscreen only in the Cowon settings is set.

Hey dnw,
es wird dir wahrscheinlich bekannt sein, aber das Kalender widget behindert die DesktopSwitch Animation erheblich, keine Ahnung woran das liegt.
Aber ein Widget das einfach nur das Datum azeigt wäre klasse ;-)
MFG
