Thanx Smigit. I was beginning to worry - at the moment the iAudio lives in a Tamrac camera bag that's way too big for it but better than walking around naked!

cheers

Ok, here goes. Can anyone here answer whether there are two different cowon carrying cases or just one size fits all? One for the X5 and one for the X5L? Or are they in fact the same case? What makes me confused is that I got a case from a Swedish retailer today but when I try to fit my X5L into the case its way too tight. Is it supposed to be like that and will I need to stretch the leather? I dont want to bust the stitches or anything else stupid.
The store I got it from is http://www.iaudiocentral.se, and on their site they claim the case is supposed to fit both the X5 and the X5L.
Their statement leaves me quite puzzled, so I wanted to know if anyone here could confirm this or deny this please?

//Nicklas.

Ps. Sorry if my english aint perfect. Ds.

Cowons is 2 seperate cases, but if you got a 3rd party one its not unconceivable they had an 2 in 1 design.

Well...... my Mistic Audio case just broke. The clip fell apart to be exact. Apparently a screw came out and the thing started to fall apart. Not very durable it seems, that is compared to my DLO iPod case's belt clip. Oh well, either I'm going to buy a new case or fashion myself a thing that will act as a clip.

No this IS the actual cowon case, i'll tell them a thing or two tomorrow on the phone.

Update: I called the guys at iAudiocentral here in Sweden today, and they assured me that its in fact the same case for both of the models, and that it's supposed to be very hard to fit onto the X5L. I really thought I was gonna break the case but I managed to get the player inside there somehow. So I guess there's only one cowon case then! I'm not looking forward to get the player out of the case when I need to recharge it though!

in my honest oppinion the misticriver one. The only other ones are the Cowon and the Nevere (sp?) one. Cowon I dont like the lack of propper clip, it uses a belt loop and Nevere I duno alot about but the mistic seemed nicer, got one and its quite good (im still to get an X5 lol)

mine was $41.49 AU dollars and it took 10 days to deliver. However I ordered on a weekend so 3 days of that was weekend so I dont know if mistic audio processes orders on weekends and Australia Mail certianly isnt active so all up it took 7 working days.

Mine was delivered to Brisbane Australia.

However I did do it durring their free shipping offer last month so I saved I think $14 US (approx $20 AU??) on shipping. Perhaps you can make an arangement with Jeff regarding that as shipping would be 1/3 of the cost unfortunatly.

edit: unfortunatly the free shipping offer ended on the 30th july I think

Yeh, I just checked it out no less than 2 minutes ago and *cough* splutter *cough*. $88 AU all up, more than double what you paid! And shipping seems to be double the cost of the actual case. I think I might opt out for the free case

Scratch that. $115 all up, case and delivery

what form of shipping? when looking in the basket I just chose the cheapest option. I think if it lets you select it then you can use it even if they arent as speedy.

I remember there was 2 fed ex ones that cost an arm and a leg along with some sorta land mail thing that was slower but cheaper. I think that can be used still cos I think thats what the free shipping offer used. I'm not 100% sure but, I'd needa check but once again I cant access the site *sigh*

I'd just email them, cant hurt really
