I had this case: http://www.caselogic.com/mp3_music_s...?modelid=44256 The case itself is very well padded, zippered, with a hole for the headphone wire. The X5L fit inside as long as your headphones have the 90 degree bent plug. I never used the arm band part but it seemed sturdy enough. The waist belt was the best part. It had spots for extra storage and was very comfortable. Edit: Also, there was a small elastic netting pocket inside the case itself, but I don't think it could be used for anything practical with the X5 inside.

Well Jeff e-mailed me the same day saying he would send me the screw. That's what I call customer support.
Jeff rules!!! And The Axledental DJ you're suppost to use the small screw if you want to attach the belt clip. Martin |

I have 2 cases:
- MisticAudio - Very nice case - well made and thought out very nicely, but I don't know how much I will be using it. For portable use I prefer a silicon case because silicon will give me the feeling that my X5L will never slip out of my grip. And if I am using it on a desktop I do not have to worry as much about it getting pushed or pulled off the surface. Also, less bulk than leather. I look forward to the zCover case. - Timbuk2 - http://www.timbuk2.com/tb2/catalog/c...?categoryId=13 I use this case for transport in my backpack. Very well made ballistic nylon with a very plush interior, perfect fit due to elasic sides, and can be used portably with either straight or right-angle headphone plug. It also has a nice little pocket in front to accommodate the subpack and my Sharp MD33 earbuds. |

I have the same case, i used the elastic netting pocket on the inside for my gym membership card (id's and cc's fit too) Plus, the case doubles as my canon sd500 case q=) (versatility rocks)

I don't like the X5L Misticaudio case. It makes my X5L too big to hold in my left hand and still be able to hold my fingers on the play/pause button and joystick. It is a good case, but just too big.

a case with a pouch for the subpack maybe, not the cradle. otherwise it will be way too bulky to be portable anymroe.
