Yes Get cowon's attention!! We want gapless!

i've read that cowon seems to act like gapless music playback doesn't exist because Koreans don't roll that way. I've also read that Cowon comes in and reads these posts occasionally for user feedback.

SO

If you feel like the cowon s9 portable media player should have gapless playback via the next firmware, post here! Let's start an overwhelming demand for gapless playback that Cowon can't ignore!

All in favor, say "I"! ("Aye"? Never thought about which one was the appropriate term to use lol)

Or....post it.

eh

EDIT: Gapless seems to be on the way! So i guess "AYE" for mp3 gapless? sure picked the wrong time to post this thread. haha. maybe we should change this into a gapless appreciation thread to show cowon how valuable gapless truly is. Maybe they will be encouraged to include gapless playback as a standard feature on future players!

hip hip...

cowon!

I really, REALLY want it. I can't believe the Zune (ewwwww) and the ipod (ick) can make this happen, and Cowon can't.

because. we need a megathread completely dedicated to gapless. apparently, gapless is not on the things-to-update list considering no cowon player has ever supported gapless, at least through a firmware update.
this is a movement my friend, revolution!
besides, i don't really think it quite qualifies as a bug per se, it's just not a popular thing over there so they don't implement it. but they would be making a crapload of american buyers extremely happy by throwing it in there. least that's my take.

sure sure, it'd be nice

might be more effective to organize a mass emailing campaign if you really want to get their attention, though!

Emailing? Where to? I didn't find anything on their site last time I checked...

I WANT GAPLESS! It sounds so...awkward...without it I listen to soundtracks and..yeah. Everything needs gapless to make me forget it's not a CD player/computer.

I really like you, Cowon, but a certain upcoming Zune is tempting with OLED and gapless...

You know... has anyone tried to contact the guys from Rockbox? They might be able to help faster than Cowon can. Has anyone asked Claw? He added my wanted Autoplay feature, maybe he can do Gapless...

@PowerTorsk: You could just dumb down your standards you know. Look at Caleb, he jumped off Cowon's ship a while ago for a phone with most likely subpar audio but wanted the cool little extras and convenience the phone provided. I mean, I would love to have a LED (OLED) TV but the price alone keeps me stayin with LCD for now, so I dumb downed my standards (AMOLED FTW!) If the Zune really interest ya, just grab it, I do forwarn ya though, the Zune is like Apple products with less of the snobiness (you will have to deal with being FORCED to use their software, etc.)
