No this is not a feature request for MP4 h264 support.
I have a few favorite video podcasts, the local news and an innovative tech/design blog. I love podcasts cause I could always just unplug my device in the morning, sit in the train and expect some new episodes.Well oke I had it coming, I knew h264 and AAC weren't supported but untill they are.. Is there a solution? Podcast software that converts the video before transferring? The beauty of podcasts is of course that it's automated so I'm looking for an alternative to converting everything myself every morning. Last edited by martijn86; 04-01-2009 at 12:23.. Thanks but I knew most of that. I saw the h264 ability thread too.
Very nice but since it's not available YET, I need an alternative to converting my local podcasts everyday manually. Given the time it takes me, I could just as well watch them at home. Unplug -> sit in train -> see new vid's. That's how podcasts should be. I'll try a tip I saw in the shoutbox. Mplayer(?) [Edit] Can't find anything in Mplayer (win version) that allows me to subscribe to vodcasts, watch the feeds in the background and convert new episodes to Xvid or something..
