What happens if you brick the cowon?
It wouldn't turn on so i put a firmware update but it froze during the update so i reset it and now it won't turn on. how do i fix this?

If it had MY problem, u should try and upgrading the FW.

now i get a white screen but only when i plug in the ac adapter
and it won't connect to computer at all |

Again, try to see how other ppl took care of this issue, like draining the bat down to the end using the WSOD and then charge it to the fullest. Doing this a couple of times may solve the problem.

How do i drain the battery if it will only show the WSOD when plugged into the AC adapter? I think the battery is drained but when i plug it in, i get the WSOD...

OUCH.. ! hmm never heared about it, lol it seems u got a (very!) crappy A3!There4 im suggesting a very cool and origianal solution:
REPLACE IT!!! Always works.. =-)

if i send the COWON to the cowon people, will they give me a new fixed one? I couldn't afford a new one.

Well, it partly depends on where you live. In the USA the warranty is, unless they've changed it, one year.

I have had it for four months but is there any way to fix the WSOD? The powerdown/recharge doesn't work for me.

1st check the warranty thingie.. I live in Israel and i have this warranty 4 one year (i think the whole world gets a 1 year warranty from them, or at least the from the A3).
