Default Firmware mods?

I've been scouring the internet since about a week after I got my a3 (~7 months ago) for this on any cowon product, and have only found one result.

However, this uses outdated firmwares and non-existent files.

I think the the A3 has a lot of potential for this sort of thing, because there are a myriad number of things you can do with a joystick and a good sized screen.
I think it'd be pretty awesome to transform your A3 into a mobile entertainment system, especially since the above thread has proven emulation works.

What say you guys? Any input?

The link you posted was for the A2. There was exactly one thing like this... From the FAQ thread.

#33: Does the A3 have any game emulators yet?
Ans: There was a simple proof of concept for Sega master system games.. search the forums. But it was a high pain for low gain kinda thing. the A3 joystick is not for gaming.. so be warned.

Other than that... all the A3 users have been busy watching movies.. no time for community development

Well, yeah, I figured that the a3 wasnt too suited to heavy joystick use, but I mean theres still a lot you could get from dicking around in the firmware.

Could edit the UI, disable EQ visualization, change the layout of everything, remap buttons, etc.
