The:
M5 M3 I'm trying to get people's feelings on which of these three fit what I am looking for based on their experience. Battery life and other things can be recommended at lasting a certain duration but I would like to ge the impression of people who actually use these products for more than a test. I'm looking for a new mp3 player that fit the following criteria: - Long battery life 14+ hours -20+ GB HDD space -Good sound quality at 192. I dont care about the video playback as it will be only used for music. Which would be the most effective for me? M3, M5 or X5. thanks |

If you don't care about video I'd recommend the M5, but I'm really not certain that either the X5 or the M5 are particularly easy to find these days.

Seconded . Get an M5L, if you can find one. And Rockbox it.

another vote for m5l. i have an x5, and the screen is a joke. just get the monochrome display, since its easier to read anyway. (At least on a 4 g ipod... not sure about the M5, since i have no experiance with it)
