Awhile ago I gave my 1GB iAudio5 to my gf and was waiting for the prices for the iAudio5 to come down so I could get another one for myself. Well the prices didn't drop and it seems Cowon doesn't manufacture them anymore so I've been waiting to get my hands on a 4GB D2. However during this time I've gone back to using my old 256MB CW200 which is still in great condition and am amazed that it's still quite good sounding. This was THE DAP that put Cowon on the world map.
It's still so cool to be able to change the fonts of the track titles displayed on the CW200's little screen. |

Hehe, my brother still has theCW200 and it is still in use. Great player, only the battery flap was a piece of crap. Kept on breaking all the time. Got Cowon to send me a few spares and everything is fine :-)
I really like the sold metal construction. I have the CW300 here somwhere, which is also great.

It runs for about 5-6 hrs using a 900mAh Ni-MH AAA. BTW my CW200 is still in great condition even though I never used the clear case that came with it. The battery flap still works flawlessly. I used it a lot for recording class lectures.
