My Transend 8gb SDHC cards works. When connected to the PC The player disconnects from it the SD card after not in use for some time. That's kind of weird. I was going to format later.

Integral 8GB SDHC Card Class 6 (from www.TikTak-IT.co.uk - thought i'd put the link since most UK places seem to be out of stock of 8GB SDHC cards, and the price wasn't much more than a Class 2). Seems to work fine with 4GB D2, firmware 2.41b

All work perfectly. Well, the datawrite is slow a f**k so I'm selling it as it was a freebie with the D2.

Apologies, I'm using 2.41b

Also works with 2.41 firmware.

My D2 is 4GB and upgraded to 2.41b version.

My 4gb Patriot SDHC card works fine. Gonna get an 8GB next week and try that out.

AData 8gb class 2 SDHC card
from newegg for around 60 dollars including shipping.

took over an hour to transfer music.

D2 did not recognize anything.

Even the original music i had inside the d2 could not be seen.

firmware:2.41b

[EDIT]
After flashing to the final version of 2.41, everything is working great!
The only problem is it is slow to get data onto the card and it takes longer to boot the player.
