i see. THanks. I will just have to use the black shadows then. But whenever i replace a image with a bmp the new image is just a black 64x64 square.

This is because your not creating a new transparency map for the bmp. I'll try to throw together a simple guide later.

ok i have completed a beta of my theme. Do i replace the 1.81 a2player file with my own or do i just copy it in so there are 2 a2player files?

Can anyone tell me whats the best way to convert PNG files to bmp and to resize them to suitable sizes.
I Used few programs to do it , but they were no good to me, kept getting error on the size when replacing icons after converting them to bmp.

i use graphics converter pro. Google it and there will be a trial version.

I used the Vista icons from http://www.gnome-look.org/index.php?xcontentmode=120

READ the text file included in the zip file.

i have tried rapidshare and other sites but they keep timing out or resetting when the file is uploading.

Well it's not quite finished yet, just some tweaks here and there to the color, but here goes nothing. This is my ubuntu inspired theme with icons provided by some tango-based icon theme which I can't find the location of anymore. It has a boot-screen and wallpaper included. This is not simply an icon-change theme, but a full re-skinning of the A2 UI.

I know it's brown, but I'm kinda partial (you can blame the walnut theme for firefox for this).

Yes that's right I replaced the spinny CD thing with an anti-ipod animation.

Sorry for the blurry pics, but what can I say, I'm a terrible photographer.

just a tip for taking photo's:

Set the camera and a2 on a table to prevent shaking.

Yeah cant really see it but from what i can see i think it looks pretty damn good and probably most modded so far.
