1900mAh?? Is that the battery your phone came with? Mine has a 700mAh only. Can you verify it's actually that much? Any photos?
Sounds interesting..

How many standby days did you get with your 1900mAh battery before it died?

whats the correct battery voltage for the X5? 3.6 or 3.7 and is that going to make a huge difference?

anyone willing to try using these batteries?

http://cgi.ebay.com/1900-mAh-Battery...QQcmdZViewItem

1900mAh battery 3.7 volts

its made for a Kodak digicam. It looks thin enough. Anyone willing to try it out and disecting the battery?

-kyu:
I think 3.7 is just right. Voltage can differ, for example it might be a little higher when the battery is fully charged (up to 4.1v maybe). But I think I read somewhere that the X5 can't boot with 3.6v batteries.. Then again, you have to try it.
This Kodak battery looks too big to fit.. and too cheap to be 1900mAh..

-dRaGoNfLy:
How much does this battery cost? A good think, it has the polarity marked.. does it also have a thermo-sensor?

The one I bought at the Dutch webshop is the same as Dragonfly's, except mine is 1700mah. It's charging now, and it looks like it works ok.

I'll post the guide, and statistics tomorrow when I had a chance to test the battery life.

This thread sounds promising!
Just a stupid question: Do you talk about a replacement for the X5 or the X5L? Does the replacement (from Dutch webshop, Maxcell, whatever) fit in the X5????

Uh, found at ebay (sorry, german):
http://cgi.ebay.de/Akku-Sony-Ericsso...QQcmdZViewItem
A replacement accu for the K700 for EUR 1,99...
Is this for real? It seems too cheap, though. Perhaps the voltage (3.6V) is too low?

There is a thermo sensor but I removed it, just like Bernych did. The K700 batteries REALLY do fit inside the X5, and will surely fit inside the X5L, and so far (after 3hours of running) the battery life seems promising.

It says it's compatible with the 1st and 2nd iPod generations.. but how big are their batteries? Anybody willing to search? And it also looks cheap for such a big capacity.. It looks to me that K700 batteries are just right at this point.
