If you do not detect the corresponding cookie, try deleting all. It is not serious, just need to configure the interface again:
Connect the X7 - Go to the folder X7 Flash/System / Flash UI and enter to the folder "SOL. " Delete all the files you find in there. Then, unplug the device and restart. Every time you encounter a similar problem, remember this procedure

Hi,

Unfortunately, having deleted all content of X7 Flash\System\Flash UI folder, including the SOL folder, I cannot switch between the icon and text modes in the original interface (holding M button does not bring up anything). The main screen does not show any wallpaper either - just black screen (setting any picture as wallpaper does not work).

Can anyone post the original content of SOL folder, please?

SOLVED: Restoring factory defaults restored the original user interface including SOL contents.

Thanks,
pk

Cool thanks enderbean. I finally got it on. It's a great IU! Thanks to the creator! Is there a way to put a calender or any other stuff on the X7? If so how do I do it? THANK YOU!

I'm a complete newbie to this kind of stuff. But how exactly do I unzip the rar to my X7 directly? I do have a rar programme downloaded, but can't seem to get the files onto my cowon successfully... Thanks for any help! It says it's stored on the player, but following all the instructions on this thread, I cannot get the theme to work! Any help?

I'm not sure what your saying. Are the files on the X7 and are not working or are you having trouble transferring the files on your X7. Below are quick instructions of how to put the files on the X7.

Download winRaR(http://download.cnet.com/WinRAR-32-b...-10007677.html) and install the program. The UCI file you downloaded from the first page of this thread should now open in winRaR. Now when you plug in the X7 to the computer open folder X7:FLASH-->System-->Flash UI. You should have two windows open at this point. One of them will be the winRaR program showing the UI files and the Flash UI folder from your X7. Now all you need to do is drag and drop the files in winRaR to the Flash UI folder and the files will automatically unzip there. Disconnect X7 and it should install automatically.

good luck

Hey, thanks enderbean. I'm still having problems though, I have the windows of winrar up, and also the X7 Flash UI open in windows explorer. However, when I drag and drop the files, nothing seems to happen. It looks as if it should let me (there's no cross like there often is if you try to do something wrong) nor does it come up with an error. Nothing simply happens... Any ideas?

hmm...thats strange. It might be because your in MTP mode. Go to your cowon-settings-second tab than change the USB mode to MSC. Then try dragging it from winRaR to the desktop(should extract files to desktop), then from the desktop to the X7 (this should work if your able to drag and drop music into the X7).

Also maybe it's already on there. The UI is tricky to find. Press and hold the M(front) button when the X7 is on. A change theme menu will pop up. Choose the theme on the right. Now when your in the X7 secondary theme you'll see a power tab at the lower left of the screen. Click and drag that tab to the left to unveil more options. You'll see three different icons. The first one to the right of the power button will be the primary X7 theme. The next one to the right will be the secondary(your current theme) and finally the one to the far right will be the custom UCI you downloaded. (personally I like the original UI the best)

Good luck!

Yeah, thanks a lot! It was because I was in MTP mode. It's working like clockwork now, thanks for your help!

Hi, no prob installing anche choosing the new UI... but when I turn the player on i have a black screen with 9 withe dots on the upper side. On the bottom of the screen i have the player controls ( |<< || >>| ) last track name and album title. No cover is displayed.

Apologies in advance for the noobish question.
With this UCI installed is it still possible to access all X7 menus and options? If it is really designed for S9, does it hide features not available on the S9?
I am thinking specifically of the option that lets you remap the hardware volume buttons to skip track.

Very tempted to go ahead and order based on this

Hi,

I'm on 2.08 and I don't see the power button to drag on the Text theme main menu...

Thanks

Once I get it working can the GUI be modified to show more tag info on the WPS?

Now when you are on the text theme menu in the bottom right corner there is a circular button with a "power" symbol on which, if you press it, brings up the "power off, lock, sleep mode" menu. Do not bring up the menu or close it if you did so... Put your fingertip on this power button and just drag it to the left. You will see that a hidden menu is dragged along with it. The first button from the left takes you back to the native icon theme where you came from; the second one cannot be pressed (and should be blue) for it symbolizes the text theme you are on. The button on the right takes you to the Chakra theme that is where you want to go. On the Chakra theme in the bottom a similar menu system exists. The symbol with three vertical lines brings up the theme menu, if you want to go back to the previous themes. I never did...[/QUOTE]

In 2.08 there is no power symbol on the bottom right of the screen...

Can anyone help to install this GUI?

Thanks
