Thanks fot the tip da1writer
I've noticed that DVC is enabled by default, it breaks a bit the volume scaling (more "linear" than "exponential", so at volume 1 , it may be too loud) but it gets closer to stock when maxed out.
Also, the PAMP lock screen is working perfectly , it was somewhat broken on D3 (lockscreen options, enable locksreen & Direct unlock)
The only thing that bugged me is when the .pamp files are generated. It breaks folder timestamps. But Recently Added entries for finding the latest added tracks in Library may be sufficient.

I really like PowerAmp's lockscreen as well, allows me to access my music without actually going inside the actual app itself unless you want to dig deep in your library. Otherwise shuffle is still accessible, gestures work with flicking up our down goes between albums while flicking left or right goes between tracks. PowerAmp also has an option that if you unplug your headphones your music pauses/stops, vice versa as well in that it resumes when you plug them back in. Truly a wonderful app for the z2, just like a good alternative to the default video app is MX player - PowerAmp is a great alternative to Cowon's Default music app.

Just a note, because you emphasize this feature: The Z2's stock app has that feature, too. (And yet it still doesn't have basic features like playlists or a queue...)
