I've noticed that when I'm using a rooted browser, I access the internal memory by opening a folder called 'sdcard' and any external memory using the folder 'tflash'. Does the former mean that the internal flash memory of this pmp (and other similar ones on the market) is just a standard SD card with the relevant capacity?
If so, I wonder if there's anyway to upgrade this oneself when the warranty expires by purchasing an SD card? Even if I can't upgrade, I'd still be interested to know if these manufacturers are using SD cards for the internal memory. Thanks |

I think the internal memory is just identified as SD card (whyever Cowon did that), but it's most likely a regular Flash memory chip.

Most android OSs list the Internal as SDCARD for whatever reason and the actual SD card is listed as Ext. Sdcard or mnt Sdcard

OK thanks, being some kind of flash mem chip I'm guessing it's probably not upgradable.
