Sony NWZ S-738F. Vastly underrated MP3 player.
1. Build quality -10 2. SQ-10 3. Ui-9 4. Video-9 10 if screen was bigger http://reviews.cnet.com/mp3-players/...-33270791.html |

S9 easy for me. First time I saw an ad for it I fell hard. I HAD to have it. Its such a gorgeous player plus awesome sound and customization.

Hmm: depends on dimension of "favorite", e.g. the player I use the most, the one I appreciate best as a technology buff, etc. Of players I've owned I'll list the Cowon D2, Sansa M260 and Sansa Clip/Clip+ each as a different sort of favorite. D2 had the most capabilities (especially that full sized expansion slot), M260 is a great travel player because of its small size and AAA battery, and Clip/+ because of its supersmall form factor (my Clip spent a long time strapped directly to a fullsized headphone) and the Clip+'s expandability. I just wish they'd make an M200+ with an expansion slot.

Have to say its the creative Zen (first version)
Although the sound wasn't as good as the j3 it was small. functional, not bloated and had the super thick silicone skin which is near indestructable. J3 for sheer audio quality and flac/mp4 support don't need more than a music video and book reader, the rest is bloatware imo. |
