I think I have found a easier way to to the trick.(I'm not sure if it will work.)
As you may know we Iranians have been boycotted by different companies like Google ,Adobe, Oracle,..... So we have other ways to use their services. for the android market issue there are few mirror markets out there they contain all stuff that the real market has & all of them are updated. HTML Code:
http://getbazaar.com/en/index.html http://cafebazaar.ir/?l=en I'm not sure if this may be a easy way to solve the market issue because I don't have a D3.

I am a bit new to the hole D3 movement but here i go never the less.
When you guys mention that you have unlocked android market, does it mean that every app on android market is then free for download and use on the D3? If it is so then, it should complicate things for me, now that i am choosing between J3 and D3? PLEASE HELP ![]() once again, i am very sorry if my quastion is stupid! |

After the Gingerbread upgrade, I had tried to get Gapps working, but had hit a stopgap. With the Amazon App Store though, it's almost a non-issue -- plus, I really use the D3 for music, 99% of the time. Be it local or Amazon's Cloud Services.

So, I've spent quite a lot of time trying to root my D3 recently, but nothing seems to be working. I have a feeling it's because of one of the following: either rooting applications don't really work with Cowon firmware 3.55 or I have gone full retard (which is pretty likely). I originally tried using z4root, as prescribed, but that just sits at the "performing exploit to gain root access" screen for forever. It went past that screen once or twice and just closed the app, but nothing seemed to change. In addition to z4root, I also tried GingerBreak, which I had read doesn't work and I can now confirm that estimation. Then I tried SuperOneClick, which also failed. So I have tried 3 ways to root this guy, but none have succeeded as of yet! Any suggestions or wisdom anyone could impart to me?
Thanks ahead of time! Edit: I just read page 5, which I thought I already had. Anyway, yeah, there's just no way to root it as of yet. Sorry for that! Last edited by ThunderPumpkin; 05-24-2012 at 12:28.. |
