I thought as much it's a shame as this would have been a massive plus for me but never mind. At least the names of the tracks remain in the playlists even if the microSD card is removed, this way i can read off the playlist whilst the MicroSD card is in my PC so I can search for the track and add it to playlists that way.

Last ditch attempt but I assume there is no plugin that can export a text file from these SOL files on command is there?

Thanks for your help anyway and THANK YOU for SENSE and LEAF. and might try Lynx tonight

I did try it and it failed to change from default uci. I did usual install as I would with my deceased J3. Perhaps the error was that I only put mainmenu1.swf (renamed mainmenuN.swf) on it. Tried again this time adding both mainmenu1.swf and a mainmenu2.swf and it loads perfectly. Figured that might be problem due to the default uci having 2 parts. The above is how I made it work on mine. Might have been ineptitude or other idiocy, but now I have got X9 with favourite UCI's on.

Great post! I quickly tried this morning before work but had no luck and knew it was something to do with the two part screen - but would NOT have tried the technique outlined above. Thanks Hoegaarden, my (our) X9(s) keep(s) getting better and better

Nope, it wouldn't be even really possible to code such a program. The way I store tracks is very different from regular M3U files because there are many limitations for UCIs and I somehow had to bypass some of them.

I was happy with the X9 before Sense/Leaf and now I'm ecstatic, I know that may sound excessive but I know I'm going to be happy with the X9 for a long time - even if I do keep an eye on any new products from Cowon, but I'm sure we all do that - Thanks Again Kizune
