G3 or mpio

For long time i have been searching for an ideal mp3 player until i found iAudio G3

model but because i,m from Egypt , there is no distributer for iAudio mp3s

and so there is no warrenty and that is the only annoying thing

So, i think about two alternative Mp3 that sold in Egypt the 1st is Creative

(although the required zen nano plus model is not found) and the 2nd is mpio mp3

with its different models , i notice that mpio is not popular especially in U.S

although according to its specifications it,s appearantly to be high class model

it,s a Korean made as iAudio , with incorporated FM, voice ( Line-in recording

in some models )

So , can you advice me if you are in my place which i will select :

1- iAudio G3 (ideal for me but with no warrenty ) .

2- mpio (sold in Egypt but not popular to allow me knowing its prons and cons)

3- Creative zen nano plus (sold in Egypt but it,s appearntly cheaply made and

with multiple flaws as i hear )

Please give me detailed advice specially on the unpopular mpio mp3 .

I would ask elsewhere, like maybe head-fi, about the MPIO.

Understand this: in the US, everything is an order of magnitude less popular than the Ipod. Apple has almost all the market, Creative has most of what is left, and then the rest is for us geeks that don't like either the companies or how they make their products.

I can definitely say the iAudio will be better than the Creative, but have no clue about the MPIO.

I already answered in the G3 forum, but I'll suggest this Mpio as an alternative to the G3:
Mpio FG100 (English language page, better photos).
It's very similar to the G3. Only differences seem to be form-factor, effects, baddass screen, and no OGG support.

I would post up a thread in the DAPreview.net forums. I know there are at least a couple members there who have the FG100. That's where I originally heard about it, so you can do a search there for "FG100" and you'd be able to see who has it.

G3 is as durable as rock, you won't regret buying it. I was in a similar situation.
It's been over a year now I use it every day and i never even think about warranty.

The point is if you decide to buy G3, odds are in your favor.

Mpio Brand has very good products as i even own one the Mpio One.
I sold my Iaudio X5L as i like my Iriver H380 a littel bit more.

I'd go with the Mpio if it's sold in Egypt.

What model are you considering?
