Default Need help.Cowon D3 is slow due to memory..

Please help .. How much RAM your D3 is used after it was first turned on?? I have the Cowon D3 Gingerbread, but there are problems with the RAM memory. It is already in use by 60 percent when first turned on. I do not understand why. To be sure this will affect the performance when opening applications. It becomes slow when playing music, even hangs when playing videos. Can anyone help?

Follow the steps when ever turning on your D3:

1) Go into the Task Manager App.
2) Turn off all unecessary apps (i.e Pictures, google search, e-mail, etc)
3) Basically, leaving only the music apps you need.

The player should perform much better.

Please post your results back If these steps don't help, you may have bad RAM.

I've tried closing all applications from the task manager. but this does not make me get better RAM, only a small effect. What do you mean I have bad ram?

Yeah the D3 has horrible memory usage. I can only knock it down to 60% used, leaving about 35-45mb free. I suppose some optimizations would be nice.. the Cowon Home takes 17mb, reducing the # of home screens will save a little.

Anyone use a home app like Launcher Pro that has better performance than Cowon's?
