Default ripped open my iPod classic 160 gb:(

My ipod classic died on me ,so i tore it apart ,after refering to some youtube videos posing some pictures
I am in-search of replacement hdd or even ssd

You got me wrong ,I know how to get it going ,I have already ordered for replacement 160gb 1.8" harddiscWill replace it myself,its pretty easy task,main problem is getting replacement HDD,finally got mine
I posted it here just to show off its innards,if anyone is interested,thats why I posted it on OFF TOPIC section,anyway thanks for the link

With 128gb sdxc cards now pretty affordable (90 usd at bhphoto.com), the whole idea of a 160gb hard drive seems silly. I think there are 320gb drives available that will fit in the ipod classic. I resisted buying an Archos 48 (500gb player upgradeable to 1tb) when they were on closeout but I wouldn't bother with a hard drive smaller than that.

Hey, I was only jk'ing with you anyways. But, if my classic hdd dies I'm popping an ssd inside. Too bad the 256gb ones don't seem to work. I posted the link to give you more info on upgrades.
