Request: Music Sequencer

Hey everyone. After 5-6 years of owning an M5L it finally died on me. Of course I replaced it with the nearest current model (the J3) and it's great.

I was wondering if anyone knows of any 'music sequencer' apps? What I'm talking about is a really simple grid where you can program a drum beat and some midi-style keyboard notes and then save the song. It can be really simple. It would be really useful for musicians like me who get ideas for songs and melodies at strange times when we're not near to a real musical instrument or computer.
