Looking for something to protect your Cowon J3?
Then you can't get wrong with a high end leather case by Noreve. In the package there is, of course, the case, a belt clip, and a screwdriver with which you can easily install the clip on the case's back. The case fits perfectly around the J3 and when the case is closed, you can't open it accidentally, but, the J3 slides in and out very easily - good Job. As opposed to the Noreve Leather case for the Cowon S9, this case allows you to transfer files without having to take the player out, and you can easily reach all the buttons through large holes in the case. There are also holes for the microphone and the speaker. But there's something which bothers me -- it's a bit difficult to use the buttons without using fingernails due to the player's design. If you always have rather short finger nails, like me, you'll have some problems using the J3's buttons in this case, but after some time you get used to it. Moreover, the speaker sounds a bit muffled when the J3 is laying on its back, but not as impaired. There is no kick stand to watch videos, but it's no problem to turn the front cover to the back so that the stands quite steadily. You can even use the player if you don't push the screen too hard. The case is quite pricey with over $50, but it's definitely worth the money. -Kizune

Seeing as that there are threads 6 months to a year old, prominently front and center on the main page, it's pretty easy to make that mistake as a newcomer to this forum. |

Now that I think of it, since this case goes for $58+shipping on amazon... I really want to see what it looks like when it is a year old. That's a pretty spendy case, and if I get one, I want to be sure that it will still be going strong a year later.
