Yeah, was just wondering what I should expect with this. I'm really bad at this kinda stuff and get confused. I just reverted back to the beta version which works fine for me right now. I'll wait til this is finished to get all confused on how to install this. It looks pretty great though!

Hey Kizune! Just wanted to put my two cents in, as far as the usability of Cheetah XT goes. In the Browser app, do you think you could add a "disable bookmarks" setting? Also, I know this is almost 100% sure to be impossible due to firmware restrictions, but could the Music UI and Browser UI be set up so that if I browse to a directory in the browser, then return to the Music UI, THEN return to the browser, it would still be in that directory?
Thanks!

Update:
- Added theme "Metro" (alias for the "Car Mode") - Bugfixes You can try the new theme on my website before you download the new build - of course some features won't work, but it's definitely usable. Also, don't forget to clear your browser cache! My website: - http://kizune.x10.mx/ (US) - http://kizune.square7.ch/ (EU)

i would actually prefer a Full Album Art display type UI with hidden Gestures. i find that more appealing. i dislike the metro UI
here's how it would work (Strictly Music and Radio Access ONLY!) -Left/right Gestures to switch through tracks/scan to next station and Tap once to pause/play -Quick Left/right Gesture for Random Track *Music State ONLY! (If this Gesture is possible without having to use a Music UI) -Hold Center Spot to switch between Music/Radio -Swipe down gesture Exit Car Mode

Since the others most likely don't know that I answered in the ChatBox...
[27-03, 23:00] what you want is no real car "mode" ![]() [27-03, 23:01] a mode is a state of appearance where all functions are accessible... in your case only music and radio features are accessible [27-03, 23:01] well, that's what I consider a "mode" [27-03, 23:03] I'll try to make an app which works the way you explained

theme.swf for the Metro theme seems to be broken in the zip.
Downloaded the unzipped file, and it's great! The colors are a bit bright for the tiles though, especially on the black background IMO. Also, multi-colored tiles like the other WP7 theme for the J3 might be cool too. It looks like for now, you've forced that fox picture on us ;P. Once again, awesome job. A very nice theme thank you sir! I think the WP7 layout works well for the J3 as there aren't that many menu entries. I have a WP7 which i'm pretty happy with so it's nice to be able to have a bit of consistency between the two devices
As Checkmate said though, a couple of the colours do seem a bit eye-cancerously bright. WP7 has a few pastel colours which are more mellow, perhaps you could add a couple of these? Also, will you be able to link the pictures tile to the Cheetah Picture UI? And lastly, +1 on the broken theme.swf. Windows doesn't like extracting your zips. I don't know if anyone else is experiencing this, I get an 'Unspecified error' for most of the .swf's but clicking 'Try again' about 20 times for each results in success . Except for the theme. Lucky we now have the sweet internet J3, i like to just imagine the music ![]() |
