True, but it's playlist limit is much much higher, and not sure if the filebrowser limit effects the tagged database or not?

old topic but figuared I would chime in.
first gen sdxc cards for the most part are just sdhc cards with exFAT format, they are compatable with sdhc readers(if your on xp or older you may need to dl a driver from the site that also holds the sdformatter) I have tested 3 different cards with a rosewill sdhc reader(3.5 bay) and using swiss knife or partition wizard you can format it to fat32, once this is done MOST decent devices(ones that dont limit you to 16 or 32gb due to shoddy firmware) will see the card and can use it, my d2+ worked with one for a quick test just fine. AFIK the "file limit" is the tags database not the file/folder browser(d2+) I have over 4k files on my player and can acces them all using file/folder browsing, I dont use tags based browsing so it really dosnt matter to me if it works that way or not. having asked around on a few irc channels concensus after testing was that this is how cowon players(and many others) work, whats limited is the tags database entries, the file/folder browser is like using explorer in windows, it just reads direct from the players memory no database bs holding back how many files you can have that way. |

sdxc confirmed working in many phones. Seems like this will work in all devices after reformatting to fat32 as said above. And you wont have file limit problems if you just use all flac |
