Default UK D2+ DAB tester needed

Hello all,
If you are a owner of D2+ DAB in UK, and having trouble with the latest firmware(4.12) such as the device freezing during channel scan, please send me a private message with your email address.

I have a test firmware that needs to be tested for fixing the problem.

Thanks.

Luckily I have not had any problems using DAB with 4.12 on my D2, but once I got a decent scan I have not needed to rescan as all channels seem to be working fine. I would still be happy to try out the new firmware if you think it would help, I live in Sheffield, England.
Either way I hope things go well, it's always good to see a firmware improvements.

Do you receive all BBC stations?
The D2 suffers from random loss of BBC stations so I'd be grateful to know if this has been fixed in the D2+.

hi jnbroo.
I have a classic D2 not a D2+ , but I am running the 4.12 firmware made for the D2+
As far as I know I get all the BBC stations (1 to 4, 5 live and sports extra when it's on, 1 xtra, 6 music, 7, asian network and world service)
This firmware has been the best one for me so far, the only one that consistantly works and doesn't lose any of the BBC stations. A full scan in sheffield gives me 39 channels so I dont know if that makes a difference.

Thanks for the reply.
I'll try 4.12.
Did installing 4.12 on the classic D2 go smoothly?

I didn't have any problems installing 4.12. If you are upgrading from 4.59 or another original D2 firmware then you will lose all your music, but upgrading from 4.11 or 4.02 should keep your music folder intact.
