Hi everybody,
I have a 4GB version of the Cowon i9, and sometimes, after safely unplugging the device from my mac, when I turn it on, it doesn't display any of my music files. If I browse through the menus and select, say, artist, it freezes and needs to be reset. The only way to get it back on is to run a new firmware update, even though the version might be the same. Any idea how to fix this issue permanently? Thank you. |

the same thing has happened to me several times. Each time I sent it in for repairing. Does anyone know of a way to fix this oneself?

Not a mac user here but from what I've read cowons don't like macs or is it that steve doesn't like cowons
I've read that it seems to be a problem with other cowons too, even if safely disconnected mac writes ghost files to the cowon and in some cases (x7) has bricked the player :/
