Hey there are another ones: MK8025GAL 80Gb and MK1231GAL 120Gb - this one looks almost identical to our 30gb one. Correct me if I am wrong but that is (MK1231GAL) our 120Gb exact replacement (with the same CE ZIF connector)!?!?
Physical Specs MK3006GAL vs MK8025GAL vs MK1231GAL Height 0.20" (5mm) 0.19" (5mm) 0.20" (5mm) Width 2.13" (54mm) 2.12" (54mm) 2.13" (54mm) Depth 2.79" (71mm) 2.79" (71mm) 2.79" (71mm) Weight 1.69 oz (48g) 1.58 oz (45g) 1.69 oz (48g) Last edited by danchik; 01-19-2009 at 00:02.. |

sorry to revive an old thread, but I'm looking for info, as I'm in the same boat than you guys.
I've read somewehere else than the MK1231gal is compatible with the Cowon A2 (in terms of size-sorry I don't know much about technical data ) There's even a 160gb HDD but this is being sold only in Japan at the moment. I've search on ebay, and the 120gb one goes for 70 pounds (on ebay uk) and 117 dollars (ebay cot com) I don't know if is much worth it, at that price. I mean I love my A2, but adding a 70 pound HDD to it? Besides, if I do buy the drive, do I have to do some modding to it? or it will be compatible just like that? |
