Help How to drain the battery?

My S9 seems to be corrupted. All the files are missing/reading funny. I run it on Mac before it happen. The screen went blank and remain so even when it's plug into the laptop.

When S9 hung in the past, I would wait for the battery to drain off and reformat. But since it’s black, the battery may never be completely used up. How do I get the S9 to work again?

That's what the reset button on the back of the S9 is for. It's next to the microphone, so be sure you know which one you are poking. A toothpick works well for this. Pressing this button does not damage your S9, or delete anything. It just turns it off.

Did you try keeping the tactile button pressed for a few seconds?

And indeed, the s9 has a reset button on the back next to the mic.
Press that and it will reset. Used it 2 times after it crashed with a video that was coded not for the s9.
