Help A3 restarts repeatedly; Odd and Strange

A3 restarts repeatedly by itself. I have upgrade the FW to 1.34 but the problem didn't get disappeared.
I have done ScanDisk on the drive but
I formatted and then downgrade it to 1.33Q FW but
I scanned it again but
I tried to deplete the charge but it was fraustening, Now it's connected to the charger to get a full charge.

Im guessing its something on the A3's board, inside it (a broken circuit, maybe).
If all the above didnt help, u better send it to repair.
Forget the warranty, its a life or death issue for the A3.

1 question: How much time u have the A3?

Did you figure out what the problem was? My A3 will shut off when I try to play certain .mpg video files.

No... It was not related to playing a specific file.

The player can get pretty hot. I'd be slightly surprised if there's a heat failsafe - except for maybe the battery, but it gets so hot I don't even know about that.

The player will shut itself down if you play some (improperly) encoded files, probably depending on your firmware version.

I actually had a large aluminum heatsink from an old computer lying around, and when I'm charging the player or copying a lot of files at home I set it on the heatsink - it definitely helps keep it from getting too hot. I'd like to think I'll get a little more life out of my battery doing this.
