Default D2 bricked, need help

Hi, about a week ago my D2 stopped displaying its internal memory. I found out that to stop this i should install the next firmware-in my case 3.59 as i had 3.57 originally.

I started installing 3.59, skipping folder 0. The first folder contenst however just qwould not install on the d2. I disconnected and it got about halfway through but froze (i left it for ages) So very stupidly i reset it, consequently bricking my d2. It just wouldnt turn on.

The guide was very useful, after a few attempts my mp3 appeared working again. Quite dodgy-i had to install a theme as the background was screwed up and initially many of the artists and songs just appeared as boxes. The most worrying thing was that on each startup the sd card had to be read and that country selector kept coming up. But i was happy, my mp3 seemed to be fixed-eventually ther artists all being visible.

Problem came. For some reason on startup the mp3 began to get to the country screen and then just reset itself, eventually not turnig on at all. I thought it might have been the battery and as i was on a camping trip waitied until i got home today to check it out.

The computer doesnt recognise it, it seems bricked again > I tried redoing the guide but to my horror it just freezes when i try to instal folder 0 using tcctool.

So there is thr whole of the situation. Any help would be appreciated on what i can do to restore my D2. Thanks

Just get a RMA number from Cowon and return it for repair under warranty.

It sounds like you have a massive hardware failure with the internal memory...or maybe the CPU itself...

I am glad I was wrong and that you fixed your D2, but would really like to know what you did...To Un-Brick your D2?
