Confused Video randomly stopped rotating, why?

My video's randomly stopped rotating one day, I don't think it's related to any firmware upgrades / faulty video formats because it used to work, and then one day, without me changing the videos or the firmware or the themes or anything, it just stopped working and now the picture won't rotate when I tilt the player on it's side... has anyone else had this problem and does anybody know how to fix it??

P.S, the G-Sensor is definately not broken, because it works fine for cover-flow view and pictures.

Puzzles me?? Did you maybe touch this icon? I know it's obvious but you don't say anything about it.

no, I thought that might be it at first, but when video is in the upright (smaller) position, that icon is not there, it only appears when the video has already flipped (which it won't any more!)

you're right, I didn't mention it, so thanks anyway!

Quick hi-jack:

What is the trick to get the videos to rotate right away? Mine seems slow to react to the tilt.

i'm not sure what you mean... unless you have the same problem as me, the video should just rotate when you turn the player on it's side...

It doesn't seem to respond that quickly. I thought perhaps there was a trick to getting the rotate to go more quickly.

I play the video, turn the player and the thing sits for a while playing but NOT flipping. It does flip, just takes a little while. (prob 10 seconds)

dunno, maby you should try doing a little flick or somthing, or it might be due to the size/type of video that you're using. if it's too big then it might have to think for a while while it resizes it to fit the screen. try converting it with jetaudio.
