Hi
I have two SDHC cards 4 and 8 Gb and they have worked fine so far. Yesterday I deleted two folders on the 4 Gb card. However it took so long time with one of the folders that I thought the player had crashed so I kept down the power button to turn the D2 off. Then when I started it again I saw that some of the files had been deleted. I therefore deleted the folder again. After a restart I tried to play some of the files of the external SD card. I could not play them! I thought I had destroyed the fs on the card so I tried the other card. But same problem. I could navigate the folders but it hang when I tried to access a folder with files. The internal SD card worked fine. I tried to reset the player but didn't work. Then I went to Settings->System and choose Clear Memory. This formated both the internal SD card and the external. After adding files again to the players card and external card it now works again! I don't know what happened but even if the D2 was scaning and updating DB (it said) it actually didn't. Because when I went to Music Library no files from D2 EXT was present. So I guess there was a DB corruption and that the memory needed to be cleared. Just wanted to report it in case others have similar problems. Now time for: ![]()
