Default Will my X5 fir in a cradle with a zCover?

I have a 30gig X5 with a black zCover. I would like to get a cradle for it but want to know if it will fit with the zCover on. I don't really want to take it out. I put it in the case when I bought it, and only took it out when I had to send it back to cowon for a battery replacment. My player sitll looks breand new!

I was thinking, isn't the XL series of players a little thicker? maybe that would acomidate the the extra thicknes of the skin. Can anyone give feedback on that?

Oh, I saw in a differant post that there are seveal model that work with the x5. They range in proce from $20 to $50. Has anyone tried the $20 model, I wouldn't mind saving a few bucks.

Thanks!

An X5 in a zCover won't fit into either cradle.

Default That stinks....

That stinks... I guess it's the width as opposed to the depth that won't work.

Actually, it's both. Remember, the zCover also adds depth to the front of the player. That would cause the (X5) player to sit slightly back in the (X5L) cradle -throwing off the input output (connection) alignment.

Check out the link below and take notice of the pics. in the very last reply on that page. You can also click on the thumbnails to enlarge 'em. Maybe that's something you'd like to do?

Wow, that is a good idea. I think I might have to try that, or something like that.

Thanks for the info and the link!
