Default [S9/J3/X7] BrainFail, a B.F. Interpreter

v1.1
- reduced number of embedded font glyphs from 62280 to 255. I hope this helps with the J3 loading problem.

+----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------+

BrainFail is a portable B.F. interpreter. It will probably be useless to non-coders.

Language
+ increment number at pointer
- decrement number at pointer
> move pointer forward by one
< move pointer backwards by one
. output value at pointer
, input a value at pointer
[ if the value at the pointer = 0, go to the corresponding ']'
] if the value at the pointer != 0, go to the corresponding '['

This interpreter supports nested loops.

Features
- 8 command buttons
- Delete button
- Enter Button (start another line, does not affect the program functionality)
- Menu
- Clear button (Clears only the current program, not the saves)
- 5 save slots that can be loaded from and saved to
- An ASCII table for character code reference
- running a program
- Displays code as it is read
- progress bar
- input screen has another ASCII table for refrence
- font that displays almost all of the ASCII character
- Text boxes can be scrolled by swiping
- icons for lynx are included in download

Hm.. it seems the J3 guide app had the same problem. It is possible that the J3 has less power than the s9. I will try to make this app smaller.

Fun? Maybe, but it's Turing-Complete.

Where? Turing-completness in this case refers to the BF language, not to a computing machine.

I guess, you offer me to write the emulator myself? No, thank you. I saw simple Dijkstra on BF... No, thank you. I would really love to write in assembler instead.

It's the official name of the language which gives us right to pronounce the four-letter word absolutely free, without punishment.

Man, read the wiki article. Oo
Just enter some code in the text field (see wiki or first post for information what each character does) and then press 'run' to test your code.
