Default Sad day. 6 year old X5L is dead

Help me find a new player. I dont care about video, ill just watch it on my iphone. I want a no frills, 20GBish flash player that isnt touchscreen, plays ogg & flac (high bitrates), that isnt super expensive.

any ideas? i was looking at the Sansa, but i dont think it supports high bitrates. Id really love the iAudio 7, but cant find them anywhere online.

hard to find a player thats got decent battery life and storage with tactile buttons, an orignal 8gb fuze with 32gb card would be your best bet, rockbox it and your set, but the battery life is MEH.

theres the clip+ but its got even lower battery life.

I moved from fuze to my d2+ and am quite happy, glad i made the move honestly, the touch screen works well for me, its got enough tactile buttons to do the trick with it in my pocket, the c2 from what i have been reading can have the same kind of setup(gotta change the display theme settings to get it to look d2/d2+ like)

if you want all tactile your kinda up a creek in this day and age, everybody is moving to mostly using touch or touch+tactile(j3/s9)

if the hdd is all that died in your x5 you could just replace it with one of a few options.

new hdd on the cheap, or my favorite for battery life for people who dont need huge space, a 32gb CF card with an adapter, either way, the player wouldnt be that hard to repair(hell i wish i had one to do an hdd upgrade/swap on, the x5 was a beast, 2nd in my "still want one" list to the iriver h340)
