Help! Mac won't eject s9

Plugged my S9 into my mac just now, upon ejecting and unplugging it is (i suppose) bricked. It won't show any files and crashes when i start the browser.

I have tried reinstalling firmware.

Help guys?

OK, reformatted and now it appears fine (?)

The problem seems to be that when the mac ejects the S9 the S9 does not register this and still thinks its connected. Any ideas people?
