Default Recording format, variable play speed, voice activated recording in T2?

Hello iAudiophiles!

I'm on the look-out for a nice little dictaphone gadget for my study notes. I've stumbled upon the iAudio players which apparently are renowned for their great recording quality. But I have a few questions I haven't been able to get straight. Perhaps you can help me:

- Which format does the T2 voice recorder function produce files in? I'd much prefer mp3. Do any of the other iAudio players encode to mp3?

- Is there an option for voice activated recording? If not, will it come? Is it there in any of the others?

- The variable play speed function, does it perform pitch correction or will you get the "chipmunk effect"? I read that the U2 doesn't correct pitch, but that the A2 does .. How about the T2? Is there some place I've overlooked with a complete rundown of such specific features in the various models?

Thank you in advance!
