It's a Telechips processor with a Cortex A8 CPU, a Mali GPU and a VPU... Cowon just bought that processor, but they didn't manufacture it.
I don't see why this is misleading or anything, I think it sounds somewhat nice that a device consists of a CPU, a GPU and a VPU.
(VPU means "Video Processing Unit" BTW)
