You can rename COWON_V5_FW.bin to COWON_V5_FW.zip and extract it with WinRAR, to get those folders. (You cannot *open* the file with WinRAR, only *extract* it.)

can you help, i'm just so desperate with my cowon v5, cause the window completely damage and can't be updated since file "cowon_fwupdate" corrupt (it's showed zero bytes!). cowonglobal service_1 really not help, suggesting to update with latest firmware while i already mentioned that my cowon_fwupdate is broken. if you willing to send all files in windows folder and program files folder i'll be really thankful. thanking you in advance. heri
